[mɔ̃teli'maːr], Stadt im Département Drôme, Südfrankreich, im Rhônetal, 81 m über dem Meeresspiegel, 30 000 Einwohner; Zementwerk, Kartonagen-, Textil- und Metallindustrie; Herstellung von Nugat (»Montélimar«). Anbau von Tomaten und Frühgemüse. In der Nähe die beiden Kernkraftwerke Cruas und Tricastin (je 4 Blöcke, insgesamt 7 640 MW), an einem Seitenkanal der Rhône das Wasserkraftwerk Donzére-Mondragon (300 MW) und das Atomforschungszentrum Pierelatte.
